Boom Boom, the name says it all. This wine is big and delicious, the nose is filled with fresh herbs and wet earth ( earthy wines are some of my favs). On the palate I get rich black cherry and more earth, with a touch of tobacco. The finish is long with lots of spice and balancing acidity.
Charles Smith did it again with this wine sourced from the Columbia Valley in Washington. Vintage after vintage receives great reviews, 2013 got 90 points, and a big time thumbs up from me.
