Cabernet Sauvignon, Opus One (2013)
California had a phenomenal season in 2013, making this another incredible entry into the already legendary Opus One label.
The winemakers state that at harvest, the fruit exhibited intense flavor, layers of complexity and excellent structure. The fruit was picked in the early fall, allowing it to ripen very well.
The wine effuses dark fruit aromas with subtler notes of forest-floor and graphite. The wine’s round mouthfeel and satiny tannins wrap around classic flavors of cassis, blackberry, and black cherry. This refined and age-worthy wine offers lively acidity and a sturdy structure with a long lingering finish.
All sales on Opus One are final, as the wine is extremely limited.
