Chateau Pascaud has a nice deep red color with beautiful dark fruit on the nose. On the palate there are hints of blackberry, black cherry and licorice, followed by a smooth finish with earth and velvety tannins. For $14.99 I was impressed with the balance and depth of this wine, I would highly recommend this wine to Bordeaux lovers.
I enjoyed Pascaud with oven roasted eggplant with fresh lemon juice and grated pecorino romano cheese, I would also suggest a hearty steak to pair with this great wine.
